Dans le cadre d'une approche féministe, la pièce de danse théâtrale I(CE) (S)CREAM Boléro Femme, chorégraphiée par Jill Crovisier, est un voyage rythmique et personnel d'une interprète qui s'identifie à une femme et qui trouve lentement sa voix intérieure dans son propre territoire, son adaptation individuelle aux tensions de notre monde contemporain. Comparés au cercle de la vie, les patins à roulettes symbolisent le progrès rapide de nos vies, l'incertitude et l'instabilité qui en découlent, mais aussi le contrôle et la persévérance. L'interprète vous emmènera dans une course puissante et douce-amère sur le chef-d'œuvre de Ravel.

Eb Geta Maam Toaa, de la langue Mooré (Burkina Faso), signifie " Ils me regardent fixement ". La performance de danse contemporaine TOAA (prononcé comme Toi) explore la dimension de la perception et interroge la rencontre d’un public et d’un interprète. Comment je me vois et comment les autres me perçoivent. Qui suis-je aux yeux de mes observateurs et comment ma perception du moment dépend-elle de mon environnement. Interprétée sur une composition originale, créée lors d'une recherche sonore, la musique de TOAA a été le point de départ de cette création.

JILL CROVISIER
Jill Crovisier est une artiste multidisciplinaire primée, née en 1987 au Luxembourg. Jill travaille comme danseuse professionnelle depuis 2007 et comme chorégraphe depuis 2013. Elle est passionnée par l'exploration des intersections entre l'écriture chorégraphique, la conception sonore et les collaborations d'échange culturel. Elle met l'accent sur la création d'œuvres inclusives et émotionnellement engageantes, même pour ceux qui ne sont pas familiers avec la danse contemporaine. Elle a remporté le Prix luxembourgeois de la danse en 2019. Sa compagnie de danse JC movement production - Jill Crovisier, créée en 2013, est subventionnée par le Ministère de la Culture du Luxembourg.

Within a feminist and empowering approach, the theatrical dance piece I(CE) (S)CREAM Boléro Femme, choreographed by Jill Crovisier, is a rhythmic and personal journey of a female-identifying performer who slowly finds her inner voice in her own territory, her individual adaptation to the tensions of our contemporary world. Compared to the circle of life the roller skates become a symbol for the fast progress in our lives, the uncertainty and instability it brings with it but stands also for control and persistence. The performer will take you on a powerful and bittersweet ride on Ravel's masterpiece.

Eb Geta Maam Toaa from the language Mooré (Burkina Faso) means -They look at me fixedly-. The contemporary dance performance TOAA (which is pronounced like Toi/you in French) explores the dimension of perception and questions the encounter of an audience and performer. How do I see myself and how do others perceive me? Who am I in the eyes of my observers and how does my perception of the moment depend on my surroundings? Performed on an original composition, created during sound research, the music of TOAA was the starting point of this creation.

JILL CROVISIER
Jill Crovisier is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist born in 1987 in Luxembourg. Jill has been working as a professional dancer since 2007, and as a choreographer since 2013. She is passionate about exploring the intersections between choreographic writing, sound design, and cultural exchange collaborations. She places a strong emphasis on creating work that is inclusive and emotionally engaging, even for those who may not be familiar with contemporary dance. She won the Luxembourgish Dance Award in 2019. Her dance company JC Movement Production - Jill Crovisier, created in 2013, is subsidised/funded by the Ministry of Culture Luxembourg.
