PHOENIX MUSIC FEST, I LIVE, I DIE, I LIVE AGAIN.

PHOENIX MUSIC FEST is a new indoor festival in France that will welcome 7 main bands of the French and European scene of Dark-Electro Industrial EBM, Electro-Goth, Progressive Metal, Hardcore Metal, Gothic-Rock, Darkwave, Coldwave, Electro-Pop, Future Pop, Synthpop.

The event will happen next Spring in France on Saturday May 18th, 2019 (from opening at 13H30 (French time), until the following day Sunday morning at 3H (French time) at the Festival and Concert Hall of Giat (adress : avenue de la Gare, 63620 GIAT, France).

With a capacity of 1000 places, the Festival Hall is situated in a beautiful little commune of the county of Puy de Dôme, in the gorgeous and renowed site of the Auvergne volcanoes.

The festival site has a huge parking, a big bar, restrooms and washbasins, and easy access to disabled people.

The purpose of PHOENIX MUSIC FEST is to continue, to become a local, national and international annual reference and present the best European bands of the Electro-Dark, Metal, Goth, Synthpop and assimilated styles in a wonderful and outstanding natural French site.

The festival has the name of Phoenix because, like the legendary bird, this event has the purpose of recurring and therefore resurrecting each year.

PHOENIX MANAGEMENT, the association (Law 1901) born to manage the festival, was agreed by the prefecture under the official RNA number : W213005140 and by INSEE under the official SRET number : 844 264 440 00018). Its head office is in the city of Giat, next to the festival venue.

Wishing PHOENIX MUSIC FEST to be affordable by everyone, the festival management set rock-bottom price tickets while the line-up of this first edition is yet of very high level, with the following line-up :

V2A : Headline number 1 of the Fest), English/German band created in 2001 by (304) et (316), one of the most renowed international bands of the scene of Dark-Electro Industrial EBM. They call their music as "Post-Apocalyptic". Ranked in the top 10 and top 3 of the German and Dutch clubs and charts, they got laudatory review and interviews in the most famous magazines like Orkus, Sonic Seducer, Side-Line and were recently interviewed for a musical mive session by the BBC. Their 2018 tour "Gravity Killer" was a triumphal one and they were headline of many festivals. V2A played severam times at the Leipzig WGT with some of the main bands like COMBICHRIST (during their 2012 tour in France), FUNKER VOGT or SUICIDE COMMANDO ;
SEELENNACHT : Headline number 2 of the Fest), German band created in 2008 by Marc ZIEGLER, one of the main band of the scene of Electro-Pop, Future Pop and Synthpop. They call their music as "Dark Romantic". They played in the biggest festivals like the Leipzig WGT but also in Berlin, Hamburg, Bonn, Dresde...) ;
LARVA : Headline number 3 of the Fest), Spanish band from Barcelone created 20 years ago by Marc MARTINEZ (INQUEST), one of the most renowed and respected bands of the scene Electro-Dark Industrial. They played in more than 300 concerts et festivals worldwide, like the Leipzig WGT but also in many others (in Spain of course but also in Germany, Portugal, France, Greece, Russia, USA, Finland and elsewhere). They played with some of the biggest renowed international bands like AMDUSCIA, LAEATHER STRIP, 47IE, FUNKER VOGT, TERROLOKAUST, SOMMAN, STAHLNEBEL & BLACK SELKET, C-LEKKTOR, UNTER NULL...) ;
DAGEIST : French Darkwave - Coldwave band based in Lille, created in 2008 and having played with some of the most renowed bands like Trisomie 21, Lebanon Hanover, Centhron, Heimataerde and so many others, in the most famous international festivals like for example the W-Fest in Belgium or the WGT in Germany ;
SWAN DEATH : very experimented multi-cultural Gothic-Rock band based in Belgium, 20 years or experience, having played with some of the biggest stars of the scene like UMBRA ET IMAGO, LACRIMOSA or DEINE LAKAÏEN ;
MANTRA : one of the best French ambassadors of the Progressive Metal scene, created in 2009. They played in almost 80 festivals like the very famous HellFest) ;
RED GORDON : a young local Hardcore Metal French band from Clermont-Ferrand having made so far several shows from 2017, They have much energy and they will have the privilege to start the PHOENIX MUSIC FEST !

The festival will end with a big After-Party the night away animated by the famous Belgian DJ GONDRAND and JUDGEDRONE (of V2A himself) !!

The renowed Belgian photographer Patrice HOERNER will be there to immortalize the event for the next edtion of the festival.

The audience present at the PHOENIX MUSIC FEST will of course find all the comfort and convenience as well as the usual stands (food and drink, tattoo and piercing, Gothic stuff) but also the PHOENIX MANAGEMENT (where the Phoenix stuff will be available) stand and the festival bands stands where they will of course make dedication, album signing and will sell all their albums, T-shirts, merch and other goodies).

The style and colour of PHOENIX MUSIC FEST will be the Phoenix (the legendary bird rising from the ashes) and a big Phoenix banner will be on the scene.

The security (by security service and police), the necessary medical care (by firemen) will be provided on the festival site.
