Internationally acclaimed trumpeter Björn Ingelstam is mixing his roots in traditional jazz with a modern approach and a love for strong melodies. The music spans from swing via bebop and hard bop to Latin American rhythms as well as some sounds from the folk tradition. Complementing the powerful sound of the trumpet with a few tender vocal features seems to appeal to both audiences and critics alike around the world.
