Microfact offers this workshop to consultants, MFIs experts and managers working with MFIs on business and strategic planning. They will gain valuable knowledge on how to support MFIs in building with them business plans and elaborating financial projections through the use of Microvision.

4-day workshop includes:

• Strengthening capacity in approaching business planning process, guiding the MFIs by defining with them main strategic orientations and making assumptions
• Enhancing the skills and capacity for interpreting ratios, analysing financial and social trends, developing long-term, diversified financing strategies and identifying key areas of risk to mitigate
• Scenario development for analysing and challenging the results of MFI performance and simulating the impact of key decisions on the microfinance institution
• Explaining how to use the Microvision tool in the process of developing financial and social projections and communicate them with the stakeholders
• Promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience among participants.

The workshop is highly interactive and practical. It applies adult learning techniques. By working on real case studies, participants will get to know the tool, make different assumptions and develop scenarios.
