Channeling the dual influences of his family’s native Colombia and his UK upbringing, Florentino’s productions combine the low frequency pressure of contemporary UK club music with the vivid sound palette of Latin America.
In the last year Florentino has performed internationally, and collaborated with a broad range of vocalists through his exploration of the Latin diaspora. Those experiences and travels have created a deep, melodic and ebullient collection of songs. There’s explorations of toxic love, heartbreak and melodrama on Ilimitado, all while reminding you you can dance your troubles away. Au quotidien, on m'appelle Lau et mon nom de dj c'est DouceSœur, je suis caribéenne et vis à Marseille depuis bientôt 5 ans. Engagée dans les luttes queer décoloniales, j'ai appris à mixer fin 2019, dans l'idée de rendre les espaces festifs marseillais plus inclusifs où on relâche toute la pression à coups de "back it up" et de twerk! J'essaye de transmettre un petit bout de mon univers et la fierté de mes origines à travers la musique et la danse parce que oui, je whine à fond derrière mon petit controler! Je tente au maximum d'inclure des sons faits par des femmes et des personnes queer afro-descendantes dans mes sets. Mon univers musical c'est en grande partie la musique caribéenne - dancehall - bouyon - reggaeton - soca - dembow - zouk - kompa, mais aussi la bailefunk/bailerave, l'afrobeat, le gqom, et le hip hop de meuf vénèr de bad bitch.

Depuis 2020, Acabesitos et Ragazza XXI se sont rejoint à plusieurs reprises pour chauffer ensemble les dancefloors et les ondes radio au rythme du dembow, le baile funk, le tribal guarachero, la batida et le reggaeton.
