we’ve landed still

gaussian and layered on wet floors,

our pockets in leaves

and falling lights in nacre socks

come and find me,

hanging from feathers

like cloth in a silky stream

now i’ve landed still

day has already risen and falled

where the path trails off

on miscellaneous colors

and fibers of cold
